Glavni cilj projekta Green IT Your Work – Zelenejša evropska mesta je poudariti vlogo mladih pri zelenem prehodu ter spodbujati zelena delovna mesta s ciljem prispevati k bolj zelenim evropskim mestom kot državljanski odziv na krizo COVID-19. Eden od ciljev projekta je tudi spodbujanje dialoga, prosocialnega delovanja, razprav in refleksije mladih ter njihovega sodelovanja pri odločanju o zelenem prehodu v Evropi. Ta projekt je mreža evropskih mest, ki se bo osredotočila na vključevanje mladih kot aktivnih udeležencev pri odločanju o mladinskih politikah, pa tudi na njihovo vključevanje v lokalne dialoge, dogodke, razprave, seminarje, konference in tako mladim ponudila vse priložnosti in informacije o tej temi. Ta mreža bo mladim omogočila raziskovanje evropskih strategij v zvezi z zelenim prehodom, zelenimi delovnimi mesti, zelenimi evropskimi mesti in njihovim izvajanjem na lokalni ravni. Projekt bo predstavil načrt sodelovanja med 8 evropskimi mesti, ki bo trajal 24 mesecev in se bo osredotočil na izmenjavo izkušenj, medkulturni dialog, razpravo in skupno refleksijo. V teh 24 mesecih bodo sodelujoči subjekti organizirali 8 mednarodnih srečanj, kjer bodo mladi iz različnih družbenih okolij razmišljali in razpravljali o različnih vidikih, povezanih z zelenim prehodom in zelenimi delovnimi mesti.
Project summary
The main goal of the project Green IT Your Work – Greener European Cities, is to emphasize the youth role in the green transition, as well as promoting the green jobs with a goal of contributing toward greener European cities, as civic response to COVID-19 crisis. Also, one of the objectives of this project is to promote dialogue, prosocial acting, debate and youth reflection and participations in decision making on the green transition in Europe. This project is a network of European cities that will focus on involving youth people as an active participants in making decisions regarding the youth policies, but also involving them in the local dialogues, events, debates, seminars, conferences and in that way offering to the youth all opportunities and information regarding the topic. This network will provide to youth the possibilities to explore European strategies regarding the Green transition, green jobs, green European cities, and their implementation on local level. This project will present a cooperation itinerary between 8 European cities that will last 24 months and that will focus on the exchange of experiences, intercultural dialogue, debate and joint reflection. During this 24 months, the different participating entities will organize 8 international meetings where youth people from diverse social contexts will reflect and debate on different aspects related to green transition and green jobs.
